Yoga

I’m a certified vinyasa yoga teacher: I earned my 200-hour alignment-based vinyasa yoga certification from Greenhouse Holistic in Brooklyn in June 2014.

Since moving to New York, yoga has become an essential part of my life. It’s been a place where I can escape the chaos and the crowds, the pressure and the priorities: 60 or 90 minutes of being able to focus on nothing but the flow and an ending shivasana of pure, quiet calmness. It’s made me stronger, physically and mentally: able to summon serenity with the same ease of moving through sun salutations.

I’ve studied yoga in Brooklyn, California, Australia and Bali and have practiced independently as I traveled through Europe, Southeast Asia and Australia. I’m passionate about teaching frequent travelers and athletes ways to open up their bodies and calm their minds. My classes incorporate creative sequences of traditional asanas and emphasize alignment, opening and synchronicity between breath and body.
