Vacation responder ON: France + England
I’m taking a break from the blog to enjoy my travels in France and England this week. You can follow along in real-time on Instagram (and Instagram stories!) and Snapchat (cestchristine).

The reason for our trip? My friend Nevin’s wedding in Cambridge! We met in Nice in 2010 while working as assistants in a cooking school, and have had so much fun traveling to Corsica, Paris and Turkey together. I’m looking forward to enjoying a proper Pimm’s Cup, going punting on the river Cam, and catching up with some girlfriends from Nice.
But before we go to England, we’re spending a week in Paris. It’s my boyfriend’s very first trip to France! We’ll be referencing this itinerary for a perfect (first) weekend in Paris, heading to Versailles (I haven’t been since I was 16!), going back to my favorite Paris streets, and checking out a few of my favorite Paris views.
I’ll be traveling carry-on only but trying to achieve effortless chic, reading a few of the books recommended here, and feeling very, very lucky.
