Last weekend, I went to my very first bachelorette party! I’m a bridesmaid in my friend Kate’s wedding in just two weeks, and it was fun to hang out with a few of the other bridesmaids. Bonus: we had a few last-minute changes of plans and ended up having some of Kate’s friends drive up and completely surprise her!

My overall feeling about Atlantic City is that once is more than enough–casinos and clubs just aren’t really my thing–but the weather was perfect and we had a great time soaking up the sunshine, eating ice cream on the boardwalk and taking a stroll through the carnival rides. We also had a really delicious dinner at Buddakan, and I doubled my $3 on the nickel slots–so overall, I’d say it was a darn good weekend celebrating Kate’s last days as a single lady. My only regret is not riding the Ferris wheel!
