Postcard from Runyon Canyon
After a long, freezing winter in New York City, I wanted to make the most out of the good weather in Los Angeles–and that meant being outside as much as humanly possible. And one of the things that I had envied afar via social media during yet another snowstorm: all of my friends and their picture-perfect Saturday morning hikes at Runyon Canyon.
So! One of the first things on my list was a hike at Runyon Canyon. A few locals told us that it wasn’t necessarily the best hike in Los Angeles, but that it was “very LA.” I wasn’t sure what we meant until we got up there: what a cast of characters! We eavesdropped on all sorts of hilarious conversations and ogled all the silicone, and most importantly: enjoyed the gorgeous views over Los Angeles.
