Postcard from the walls of Hobart

Postcard from the walls of Hobart

The details of a place have always interested me more than a sweeping panorama: those are the rewards for paying attention, for actively searching your surroundings instead of complacently heading toward the next scenic vista. Flowers on the road in Hobart, Tasmania, AustraliaHobart was full of the sort of details I love: a shock of green valiantly pushing through a crack in the wall, brightly-painted doors next to white-washed walls, the under layers of a building shining through. Does anyone else find these details as beautiful as I do?

  • As always, I love your attention for details. Pictures don’t have to portrait something extraordinary to be great and you’re proving that in every single one of your posts! 😉
