Postcard from Sacramento
I have a love/hate relationship with my hometown of Sacramento. I love the tree-lined streets of Midtown, the view over the river in Old Sacramento, the Capitol Building when it gleams in the sunshine. But I’ve lived in the suburbs south of the California capitol since I was 3; while it’s comfortable, it’s not too exciting anymore.
Being home for only a few months in between adventures abroad is forcing me to look at Sacramento in a whole new light: how I’d look at a destination, not a routine.
