Snapshots of the island of beauty

I still can’t stop raving about Corsica. Maybe it’s because I’m back to uncomfortable, rocky beaches and a heavy humidity that rivals visiting my grandparents in Florida. The fact that I worked all weekend–and had to act as a police translator when someone tried to steal a laptop from the pub!–certainly is contributing to my longing to return to beautiful and stress-free Corsica. Until I can plot a trip back, I’m living vicariously through my favorite photos.

  • LOVE the first photo! Definitely makes me want to visit Corsica!

  • Corsica has long been on my 'must visit' list. I recall a Corsican cheese I ate years ago …the flavour of wild mountain thyme, oregano and other herbs told me that this would be a special place. Your photos have confirmed that initial impression.

Thanks for piquing my interest and reminding me to raise Corsica on my travel priority list!

Aww thanks! It's definitely worth it!

  • So beautiful! Definitely a must visit place now, when I eventually get to visit France.

Many people forget about it when they come to France, but I think it's probably one of the coolest destinations!

  • Corsica looks gorgeous. It and neighboring Sardinia are on my list of less-touristed European escapes that I hope to escape to, one day.

Corsica is absolutely fabulous–without a doubt, it’s my favorite place in France!
